DECK-O-SEAL ONE
STEP is a tude grade product used to repair damaged
Deck Seal and to complete a water tight seal to the under
side of a Cantilever Decking where the decking and the tile
meet.
DECK-O-SEAL (Self- Leveling Pourable
) Is used for horizontal applications, and is excellent for
pool coping to decking joint sealant.
SEALTIGHT
KOOL-ROD is a flexible rope-like foam joint backing
material. Used in Pool Coping Applications and for Cantilever
Decking where there is a need for backing, it also helps to control
depth of Deck-O-Seal Sealants. It does not allow air or moisture
entrapment. It installs quickly and stays in place.

DECK-O-SEAL ONE-STEP may be applied by
manual or air operated caulking guns, putty knife, or
trowel. No primer is required. Joints should be cleaned
and freee from dirt, dust, laitance, oil, grease, wax,
curing compound, loose material,
etc. |

DECK-O-SEAL ONE-STEP, under normal
conditions, (70F. and 50% relative humidity) will form a
skin on the sealant in approximately 8 hours. To speed
the formation of the surface skin, the sealant in the
joint may be tooled with water which results in a skin
forming in about a half hour. The time required for
complete curing of the sealant, depends upon the size of
the joint, temperature, and humidity. High temperatures
and high humidity promote rapid curing. Conversely, at
low temperatures and low humidity, a longer time will be
required to develop the optimum qualities of the
sealant. |

AFTER APPLYING SEALANT, application
equipment should be cleaned promptly with Xylene or
Toluene. |
PRODUCT COVERAGEThe chart shows
approximate number of lineal feet which can be sealed with a
11-ounce Cartridge.

DESCRIPTIONDECK-O-SEAL Two Part Elastomeric
Polysulfide-Based Joint Sealant is a premium grade,
pourable,self-leveling, sealant which cures at ambient
temperature to a firm, flexible, tear-resistant rubber.
DECK-O-SEAL is highly resilient and has excellent recovery
characteristics after extended periods of compression or
elongation. DECK-O-SEAL has outstanding resistance to
weather-aging and won't discolor. It provides excellent
adhesion to most surfaces without using messy
primers. PRODUCT COVERAGEThe chart shows
approximate number of lineal feet which can be sealed with a
96 ounce DECK-O-SEAL kit.

DECK-O-SEAL is damaged, and the joint has not been
contaminated, it can be repaired by cutting out only that part
and resealing it with DECK-O-SEAL. Pint size
available.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
SEALTIGHT
KOOL-ROD is a closed-cell, polyethylene, flexible,
rope-like foam joint backing material. This material is
virtually non-absorbent and chemically resistant to most
solvents. KOOL-ROD will not stain or adhere to sealant
materials. It is fully compatible with acrylic, butyl,
polyurethane, polysulfide, silicone and most other cold
applied sealant compounds. |

SEALTIGHT KOOL-ROD
is highly adaptable for both vertical and horizontal
applications. It is commonly used in glazing operations,
copings, between pre-cast panels, around door and window
perimeters. It provides the perfect backing for all types of
construction, expansion, isolation, control and pavement
joints.
